Mr. Jeff Schlade Welcome to The Napoleon High School official web page. I am principal Jeff Schlade.  I have been principal of this 800+ student school since 1999, and was the assistant principal the two years prior to that.  It is very refreshing to work in a building with students and staff that desire to keep up with the grand tradition of excellence the people of Napoleon have come to expect from their high school.

The Napoleon High School campus, nestled on an inviting 69 acres in the northwestern portion of Napoleon, Ohio is committed to its rich tradition of being recognized as a premier academic institution, helping ALL students excel.  Along with a blend of staff and parent support for its students, The Napoleon High School offers a full range of curricular and extra-curricular programs.  

From special education programming to advanced placement courses, The Napoleon High School serves each student with an appropriate education.  Napoleon students have consistently scored well on all standardized tests, particularly ACT, SAT, and Ohio Proficiency Tests.  The Napoleon Area School District consistently ranks well above the state average on the state report card.  You may view our latest results by clicking on the link below.

Along with our regular curriculum, we also offer unique sections in Publications, Multi-Media Productions, Thespian Troupe, Quiz Team and others.  The student-run, community public access station, NC-TV 5, does live news broadcasts, highlights community interest topics, and does the schools daily announcements.  Offering 20 different varsity sports and a wide variety of activities, students enjoy their choice of extra-curricular recreation as well.  These programs are an integral part of our mission of helping all students excel.  In instances when students are interested in a specific vocation, we rely on the Four County Career Center to make available additional options traditionally beginning with the junior year.
