Middle School announces Parent-Teacher Conferences

The middle school will have an open non-appointment format on all dates. Parents will have an opportunity to meet with staff on a “first-come, first-serve” basis and all are welcome. Due to the fact most of the grade level teachers have all the students in their specific grade, we are unable to coordinate scheduled appointment meetings. Please give yourself amble time to visit with any or all teachers. In addition I would like to inform parents that staff will be unavailable from 11:30-12:30 pm on Friday, November 11th, so please take this into consideration when making arrangements to visit the middle school.

Please take time to review how the middle school intends on sending student grades home for the 2011-2012 school year:

2nd Quarter Interims: Week of December 12th
2nd Quarter Grade Card: Week of January 23rd

Android and Apple App’s –
Staff, students, and community members can stay connected to the Napoleon Area City School District via mobile phones. The application includes the ability to call all buildings in the district, which includes the Bus Garage and Board Office. You may also keep updated with all the high school sports, latest news from the district, and calendar events. It may also be used to keep parents/guardians updated with your students’ grades. The NACS App is available on both the iPhoneTM and AndroidTM devices. Check out the app site at: http://apps.napoleonareaschools.org/nacs

We would like to continue to encourage your participation in the various activities at school. Students appreciate seeing parents and community members at our band/choir concerts and sporting events. We appreciate parents who volunteer time and resources to the middle school. We are always looking for volunteers. If you would like to help, please contact the office.

We also encourage communication between home and school. If you have concerns regarding your child, feel free to contact our Dean of Students, Mrs. Lynne Debbe, or our Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Holli Horn, for assistance. The office staff is more than happy to assist you. If you ever have a question or a concern, do not hesitate to stop-in or call. The office phone number is (419) 592-6991. Principal's e-mail address is ryan.wilde@napoleonareaschools.org.
